Synopsis:

More than ten years before the events of the manga, professional bodyguard Yukichi Fukuzawa unexpectedly crosses paths with a brilliant yet arrogant young prodigy, Ranpo Edogawa. Despite his initial reluctance, Fukuzawa takes Ranpo under his care. Their first mission leads them to a local theater, where they must respond to a strange death threat. This challenge tests both Ranpo’s intellect and Fukuzawa’s expertise. The aftermath of the case inspires Fukuzawa to create the Armed Detective Agency, an organization dedicated to tackling dangerous cases beyond the reach of the police.
